The history of our Manor House, Valerie Hill, spans two centuries. While her walls don't talk, the ghosts that haunt her rooms certainly do. Our popular "History & Hauntings" event gives you the opportunity to hear first hand accounts of the activity of our resident ghosts - from the woman in the cellar that calls for help to the spirit of a boy perpetually locked in an attic room. The evening includes dinner by Village Square Restaurant of Winchester, a glass of wine of your choice, and a detailed tour of our Manor House, focusing on historical fact and documented paranormal activity. This year’s menu by Chef Dan Kalber includes Chicken Picatta, Butternut squash risotto, oven roasted asparagus, and fresh bread with butter. Dietary restrictions beyond a vegetarian option cannot be accomodated.
